Wet coating plant consisting of an efficient pre-cleaning with hot water and supply by means of a cleaning supply tank. Coating tray also with coating supply tank for inline coating with a drawing agent carrier (e.g. borax or borax-free lubricant carrier) and subsequent drying to produce a high-performance coating.
The dry coating unit is suitable for homogeneous coating of wire with all common dry stearates / soaps in a continuous process, whereby the drawing soap loss is reduced to a minimum, the coating thickness in turn is maximized by a continuous supply of drawing soap.
